Posted by dave Or drop Myers now, lose him for good, and keep Lawrence and wait to see if he can get his ERA/Whip straighted out... Padres have it going this year offensively... What do you guys advise at this point? (Myers was a keeper for me this year, and as you can see, hate to let him go, only 23, but I am ranked about 8th in pitching in a 14 team AL/NL league). Leading in hitting so far, considering a Manny Ramrez for Curt Schilling trade, kinda of chicken to offer it, but Schill is a money pitcher, like his character better than Manny. But Manny puts up big numbers.... Thanks!

I am thinking about dropping Brett Myers to pick up Eric DuBose of O's. Also, Brian Lawrence is the mix....
One thought says drop Lawrence for DuBose, Lawrence did get a win over Mets last night 5 runs/5in but his ERA/Whip are killing me... and keep Myers. But after next start if not improvement, Phillies may send him to Triple-A to work out his mechanics. Then I have him when he returns to majors later on...
