Posted by RedArt on 6/13/2003, 6:37 am As an aside...is this the makings of a career type year possibly? He is on a team playing very well...got very lucky when he pitched poorly...now he is pitching well... Is that a scenario we have seen before? What is everyone's view of him for the duration?
He comes off a third PQS-4 in a row. I had actually seen that he had stunk, regardless of the ERA/WHIP numbers and had been trying to trade him in earnest before HQ reco'd the SELL. However, I found myself in a situation that curtailed my dealing of him, specifically, 4 starting pitchers on the DL (Pedro, Park, Rodrigo, Benoit). Should I be happy I was unable to trade him? It looks like he is improving vastly.
