Don't forget that Beane doesn't play by the normal rules

he weights OBP very very high, and he also looks for chemistry and ability to improve. He may see Dunn as a potential plate disicpline pupil.
If he improves his plate discipline and plays some small ball. he will be a force with the A's.
Note that the A's are no dummies.
Beane believes that E. Chavez has the most potential in all of baseball now... what do you think of that?
