Trade: Griffey for Miguel Cabrera/Cabrera outlook

A fellow owner surprised me with an offer of sending me the oft-injured Griffey ($39 next year) straight-up for Miguel Cabrera ($14).
I could use offense, but Griff's reputation has me leery, and there's no way I keep Jr. next year. Griffey needs to return to pre-Cincy form for me to make a strong push for the title.
Is Cabrera for real and will he be up this year when Lowell is traded by the Marlins?
