Seems logical to me. Last winter during all their baseball season preview segments, ESPN ran a clip of Bagwell throwing home, with his elbow firmly planted against his side, what we would have called "throwing like a girl" when I was a kid. On the strength of that clip alone, I was able to deal Larry Walker for Bagwell in February, and on the strength of Bagwell's April, I was able to deal him for Magglio Ordonez. I am no expert, but as one who has seen many Houston games lately (that MLB package is worth every penny), it looks like there is more then a simple slump happening here.
I think what was written by Chris is the most probable explanation for what is going on with Bagwell.
