JD is a great talent who just can't seem to stay in the lineup. Management knows this and will be very happy with him in the two hole 5 days a week. As a result .300 20 80 seems like upside for this year. Longer term is tough for ownership, he is free agent after 2004. Problem is so is Morriss and Puljos must be signed so team may move him which won't help him. He is a real country boy who doesn't care for any attention.
