How healthy is Percival

I could easily pick up 5 points in saves in a very competitive league, and I have been offered Percival and Kevin Witt for Marte, Broussard and Justin Morneau (ml)
i have Pena on my DL, so Witt wouldn't hurt at all. My only concern is Percival's health. I don't like the sound of a degenerative hip. any advice?
