Arroyo is out of option, so if he comes up, he's got to stay or clear waivers. I can't figure out why they don't toss Rupe into the mix, though chances are decent that he'll get a start later this week with Wakefield and Fossum both out and Pedro onlyscheduled ot pitch 3 or 4 innings Wednesday. I think Boston management would like to see Kim in the rotation for a long time. Actually, I suppose they'd like to see Fossum and Burket start pitching better so they can afford ot send Kim to the bullpen, but that doesn't seem to be happening.
: Assuming Pedro comes back this week, how long
: until Kim becomes the closer? I know
: Fossum complicates this analysis.
