I'd say about one day less than forever. Look at the shattered Bosox rotation: Fossum headed for the DL, Wakefield hurting, Pedro being nursed along, and Burkett being Burketty. Having Kim around is going to be a windfall for the Boston management, he's probably not going to the pen for at least as long as it takes to figure Fossum out and do something about it, maybe all year.
