The Anson County Genealogical Society will meet Saturday March 15th at 11am in the historical society office at 206 East Wade Street in Wadesboro. Nora Brooks of Monroe, NC will be with us in full Civil War era dress as she portrays Anna, the wife of Stonewall Jackson. She will also be selling copies of her past performances on DVD available at $10 each. Please contact me for directions if needed.
Membership with the Anson County Genealogical Society is $20 per year payable to Anson County Genealogical Society & mail to 874 Moores Lake Road Wadesboro, NC 28170. I would like to encourage everyone to submit their family history & queries for use in a future genealogical society newsletter.
