I'm trying to find any info connecting Susan Caroline Jones Sherrill (or Carolina Susan Jones Sherrill), wife of Nicholas Whitfield Sherrill, with their son, Thomas Franklin Sherrill. She is supposed to be buried in Bethel Meth. Cem near Wadesboro, NC. She died 7 Sep 1892 and was listed with her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Sherrill Hunter in 1890 Census in Chesterfield Co., SC. Thomas Franklin was my great grandfather. My grandfather was Gustavus Adolphus Sherrill of Cheraw, SC. I'd be so happy to find a will, land record or anything proving a kinship with Thomas Franklin with his parents. He had already left home when the 1850 census came out and is listed only as a # in the 1840 census.
