R. and Nancy Tarlton, Born Jan. 4, 1863 Died Jan. 19, 1880 The other marker was: CALVIN MYERS, Died August 7, 1850, in the 34th year of his age. A while back several of my family went to a forgotten cemetery in Anson County, NC. We had hoped that it was the one mentioned in a land deed where our ancestor SILAS JORDAN FINCHER sold land to his daughter JULIA ELIZABETH FINCHER and her husband JAMES THOMAS LOWERY. In the deed Silas says he is selling such and such land except for the half acre containing the family graveyard. Although, there were 12 to 15 graves there, we could only find 2 stones, ALLEN P. TARLTON and CALVIN MYERS.
