re Landing on Auckland Islands - islands are administered by NZ Government (Department of Conservation) and landing is allowed by escorted permit only, up to a maximum of about 600 per year. Look at www.doc.govt.nz and search for Southland and Auckland Islands. or write to Administrator, Department of Conservation(Southland) Private Bag, Invercargill NZ.
