Have written to you directly - but just to satisfy anyone else's curiosity. YES .. he was the blacksmith and he did make the first wedding ring. He was an original settler .. his wife and child came out in 1851 to join him.
ENDERBY SETTLEMENT DIARIES .. Macworth and Munce gives a wonderful view of life in the settlement
