Hello Celine -- fortunately the Dundonald was the last of the many wrecks on the Aucklands - but still a wonderful example of human endurance. You will see items from Madeline (Ferg) of Canada on this notice board - her great grandfather was wrecked on the Aucklands (vessel Invercauld) in 1863, Madeline has visited these Islands several times to retrace those old footsteps. I'm sure she will pick your message up soon and make contact with you.
I lived on those Islands for 18 months during the war of 39-45, radio operator for a coast-watching station, happy to help with back-ground info if of value to you. I wonder where in the world you are!!!
