I have to be honest with you, if he wants to cancel everything then you should really rethink his love towards you. If he loves you he will do anything to get you no matter what the families think or do. I would re-consider being with this guy seriously. Being marriage is not just wearing the pretty wedding dress on your wedding day, its spending the rest of your life with this guy and i personally think that if it didnt work out now it would be better to separate then marry and end up being divorced in the future, I think that would be the worst situation.
