The Board of Trustees, Staff and Volunteers of the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA), Nikki A. Bethel, Chair, and Laurie A. Cumbo, Director, are pleased to inform you that MoCADA's highly anticipated renovation project has been completed!
During the weekend of May 18-20, 2006, MoCADA will "Roll out the Red Carpet" in celebration of its new home within the BAM Local Development Corporation's Cultural District in Fort Greene Brooklyn, New York and our inaugural exhibition "The Pulse of New Brooklyn: A Review of Works of Art by Contemporary Black Artists."

The new state-of-the-art facility will house flexible exhibition spaces, gift shop devoted to the African Diaspora, offices that can accomodate staff, volunteers and interns, increase storage space and an elegant reception area. We invite you to celebrate with us by participating in all of the exciting festivities planned especially with you in mind.
