Next year, in June 2006, a great thing will happen. Ten years of Animorphs. Have you read that post where I put new Animorphs words to "All Star?" Remember that line that says, "Let us not forget, anytime soon, the many Anisites gone by, like Morphz and many others?"
It does not just mean Anisites. It also means Anifans. Sometimes it feels like I'm inhabitted by the spirit of Jeff Samson. I'm the newbie with the heart of an oldie.
Lean close and let me tell you something.
I am very certain, no matter how many years it will be, that there will be a new Animorphs book. Series don't end with cliffhangers and remain that way forever. A good example of this is The Pink Panther. In a couple of months, a new Pink Panther movie will be coming out. 54# is a bit like The Trail of the Pink Panther. Its a messy cliffhanger ending that won't, and can't, remain that way.
