Dear Jude, I know the headstone of which you speak. Actually, there are two graves. One where James and Emma Maley, my father's parents, are buried, and the other where my sister, Karen Mabel, who died as a baby, is buried. More recently, my father, Joseph, was buried there in the grave of his baby daughter. He insisted he be cremated so he could be buried with his family. The church is allowing no more burials. His sister, Theresa, had her ashes scattered in the same chapel yard. My mother, Mabel, and two brothers, Patrick and Christopher, all still live not to far from this church. I believe my grandfather James had a role in building it. But enough of me. Tell me how you come to be researching these folk?
