He applied for land in Canada in 1833 and got his land in 1834, in Mariposa Township, Victoria County, Ontario. The 1901 Census shows Neil living at 34 South King St., Oakwood, Victoria Co., with his son Lauchlin b1842 & sp Jane (WALLACE) b 1847, their sons, Lonson b1885 & Orlando b1889, & a niece, Zelma Patterson (NOKES) b1867. A Donald PATTERSON lived next to Neil, relationship unknown (brother? cousin?). Neil and Nancy's known children: Lauchlin b1842, John b1845, Flora b1846, Mary 1848, Christina b1850, Angus (Andrew?) b1852 and Donald b1854 Questions: I have some info re their son Lauchlin (my gr grandfather) but nothing re his siblings. Any help or ideas greatly appreciated!

I have been searching for this PATTERSON family and coming up empty. My only info is:
Where did Neil and Nancy come from in Scotland? When did they come to Canada?
What was Nancy's(Ann? Agnes?)surname? b date? Where did they get married?
