I have been told his parents are Thomas & Mary but have no concrete proof.
William James (Van) Steinburg was born 1817 and died 1906. He married Mary McAlpine and they lived in Morewood, Ont. in Dundas County where they raised 12 children. I don't know where he was born and would love to hear from anyone with information.
