This would seem to be a real long shot for me because I'm having a great deal of difficulty tracing my roots from Manitoba. My father's name was John (Johann) Bourne and his father was Isaac Borne from Russian Mennonites. His parents came from Russia in 1902 or thereabouts. They settled around Lowe Farm. I have more details but will wait to see if there might be a connection.
