I am looking for any information on my ggGrandfather and ggGrandmother Joseph Micheau and Sophia Cote'. Believed to haved moved to the USA from Canada (possibly Ottawa) in the 1870s. They lived on the Garden Penninsula in Delta County in Michigan's Upper Penninsula and show up in the 1880 census. One or both of them may be of Indian decent and may have lived on St, Joseph Island Canada and or Drummond Island.
