Most researchers use the "Rumsey" designation. There are lots of discrepancies, and it has proven difficult to run them down. I got most of my information from other researchers. In old newspaper entries, the name is "Rumsey". You might try the Donovan/O'Donovan message boards and the Donovan Family Genealogy Forum.
