Posted by abc on 3/25/2006, 2:27 pm "seriously...i drove and hour and a half to see anathallo and the whole time, you could barely hear the band over people talking. they played in some art studio and it was by far the most pretentious place ive been to. nothing but faux-hemiens from wall to wall. to top it all of while leaving i heard one person say to another, "no ill drive your car...im much more soberer than you."" on top of that, anathallo's set seemed greatly shortened as there was no Hoodwink or Don't Kid Yourself. I donno if they've only been playing 20 minute sets the whole tour, but that was kinda saddening. The worst part was the drunken assholes though. The show was basically some dude's house party where he decided to invite Anathallo to OPEN for his friends' local band. Everyone was drunk and loud.
