I too am hoping for a relationship to kick off. I'm African American and have not been impressed with network televisions portrayal of interracial relationships, however, I am in favor of this one. I believe the writers have done their job in establishing a mutual respect between the characters and has developed great on screen chemistry. The storyline should be developed now that Amy has gotten her feet under her, owns her own home and has accepted her cousin Kyle.
