I have enjoyed re-runs of Judging Amy for some time but have always been disturbed when the story begins to take a liberal view. Clearly I'm not welcome here!
Why are abortion and divorce always favored options? The show glorifies "Maxine" as a loving woman who will go to the ends of the Earth for these kids, but the darker side always emerges.
My parents didn't want me, and I spent most of my youth believing I should have been aborted.
Guess what, I now believe that the last thing we should do is punish and terminate the existance of someone who has yet to do anything wrong. Why don't those babies deserve a chance? Why punish them for our lack of self-control or bad judgement?
That's just wrong
