This is strictly my opinnion: Amy has had a physical attraction toward Bruce from day one. (Who can blame her?!)Amy even had a dream that she had an fling with Bruce. Early on, they were accused of impropriety. (They were getting very friendly, Amy could go in his pants pockets for keys etc., but no hanky panky) They had to go through a whole big drama for that to blow over. It did teach Amy that she really needed Bruce. Well I dont think Bruce reciprocated Amy's feelings until much later. I believe the episode that he starting feeling more than friendly towards Amy was when she spoke at his trial against his wishes. You could see his demeanor really change. (Again, just my opinnion) Not to mention, they shared a kiss shortly after. I think Bruce has been battling over his feelings for Amy. He does have a lot of pride and it's conflicting with his feelings for her. He may believe in black families but he also believes in loyalty. It's something Amy has shown repeatedly that he hasnt been fortunate to find in a black woman. (Well not yet anyway). It's also really funny to see that neither Bruce or Amy can stand anyone that the other dates and niether has had a lasting relationship yet. I think the show rides on this angst between them. Its a shame because I think there are so many stories that can come from them becoming a couple, instead of driving us crazy by stringing them along. So you're right when you ask if there is anything between them. There's a whole lot, but they're both too afraid to ask. Not to mention, it would be inappropriate for them to pursue in their current work situation. Bruce is supposed to be working on a degree in Child Psych. I think things will really come out if and when he stops working for her. Hope this helps. (Even if it is just my opinnion)
