Any standard of the breed (ABA, NKC, EABC, CKC, ARF,ABNA, NABA) disqualifies BLUE or BLACK. What more of a clear statement do you need ?
Accepted colors are white with more or less brindle or fawn/red/brown markings, no leaver, chocolate, blue or black.
There were always peddlers selling mixes as purebred. But the net is the information-highway to inform honest breeders and breed-fanciers about such practices.
