Posted by TJ. Church Mr. Cook... Another thing I must agree with you on is the idea that dreams may very well be naturally-occuring art, & art therefore imitates dreams. Even so, any psychologist or other such person who studies dreams will tell you that not all the dreams one has (whether the type that are situations we see while asleep, or those that are "hopes for the future") ever have, or ever will, happen. Therefore, I continue my point that any dreams one wishes to happen must be, as best I can describe it, put through a "litmus test" of sorts to see what parts (if any) are plausible, before we go on expecting them to happen. Lastly, I can combine your final two paragraphs. I agree that this message board has turned into one form or another of "pointless banter". However, it is not (in my feeling) my place to end such pointless talk. Rather, that is the part of you & Mr. Snyder, both of you my friends & (as far as I can tell) the main "theorists" of this americanadian "theory"/idea. For I also continue my argument of it being your job to ask "Can this happen?". The reason for this is simple. Option 1 could happen. You could check it for plausibilities, or gaps in such, & all such matter, & see that it still holds. Then, we can move on from this "banter" we are currently in. Tim "TJ." Church

Obviously, as the old saying goes, "Nobody's perfect". I must agree that there is an inability for anyone to achieve perfection. However, I'd like to consider myself among those who have made this realization, & therefore simply (for lack of better terms) "stopped trying" to acieve such an unattainable thing. Despite the fact that perhaps none of us are ever truly satisfied with what we have, I believe it is no longer true that everyone continues in a never-ending quest to achieve that satisfaction.
However, you must look at Option 2, which could also happen. You run the same check, & see that in one (or maybe even more) place(s), it does not hold, or is perhaps missing something. In that case, it cannot happen, & I (& anyone else who has even slightly thought of these ideas as possible or not) have somewhat wasted our time.
