Posted by C H Cook on 6/12/2002, 3:32 pm Mr. Church... I think there is a need to view americanada as an art. For Milan Kundera dreams and nightmares are a beautiful expression of the human mindA natural creative platform upon which the human body creates art. If dreams are naturally occurring art, then it is reasonable to draw the correlation that art imitates dreams. If this is true then art is nothing more than the manifestation of conscious dreams or ideas in form of painting, words, and even in relationships and cultures. Hence, even the U.S. government is one of many artistic human endeavors. A message board to an ideal in formation should therefore be an expression of the art of creating an ideal. To this end, I feel it is the duty of the americanadian theorist to be an artist by better defining the americanadian ideal. It is my position that this message board has been more pointless banter than an attempt to define the americanada ideal. This being said, It is not the theorists place to ask Can this happen? This is a question left to the americanadianist. Moreover, even the americanadianist will know that americanada is the future, because this is the nature of the americanadian ideal. It is the next step in Hegelian dialecticit is the inevitable destiny of two nations. This is an essential quality of americanada, just as longevity is an essential quality of true love, and of the love of americanada. Cook

To the point regarding the American Dream: I see the American Dream as a manifestation of Nitchze's "Will to Power" or some other innate unquenchable drive. As such, the degree of want is insignificant, because as long as the individual is not satisfied the allusion is sufficient; the fact is that ideals are inherently unachievable in a pure form. The same holds true with American Independence. Progress is not the pointThe point is perfection and the inability to achieve it.
