I have a set of 1967 Ludwigs in sizes 12x8, 14x14, 20x14, 14x6.5. I am shopping for new cases and found that many brands do not make cases for these old-school traditional sizes. One brand that seems to fit the bill is the Protechtor Air Elite series by XL Specialties. They make a 20x14 bass case, but I wonder if the case is sized to fit the old-style T-rods, or do I need to go with a 20x16 case. Anyone have experience with this situation?
