I recently ordered a custom acrylic bass 20x18 from gold-n-times to match my 16x14 and 12x8 ludwig vistalite toms. Is acrylic more durable than the wood shells? Do they last longer? Also, Does anyone have any experience using a 20x18 acrylic bass? I want this thing to blow people away but I'm not sure how to do it. Im also waiting for my 48 mini tom lugs to come in from AM, and I was wondering if using the mini tom lugs on my bass will affect it at all.
