all you have to worry about is sound !
this is simply how much surface of the shell is in contact with the head ,
with double 45 edges you'll have less contact with head than with vintage roundover edges...wich let the head vibrate more freely
the roundover have more head contact and the head vibrate less...
if you hate tuning yours drums...go for the vintage edges ....double 45 is used more for heavy rock i think ...
