I don't know about chrome tube stock, however I purchased a Gibraltar Road Rack last year and hate it. If you've never used one before think twice. I bought it to save time setting up and tearing down - It takes longer and weighs more than conventional hardware. If you are dead set on a rack I'll sell you mine - CHEAP!
