Hey ive said it befor .. personally i know you can get a deep sound your looking for outtaa the shallow toms i play supper low to the ground ... i even cut my snare stand to fit everything else ... i good trick is haveing one 45degree bearing edge ... and then buying remo pinstrips for top and Bottom ... you can get alot of slap and lows outta those heads... But your not really gonna a Really really deep sound unless you tune those jams low and loose but hey iam the one with a 12x8 floor tom and it sounds awesome
