Rockstars are made of very loose-grained and poor quality wood. Not even close to Keller.
Keller's north American Rock maple is about 1480 on the janka scale of hardness vs about 650 for the Tama. Not to mention the shells are thinner than rockstar, and very consistant.
There is no way to compare the two as they are on opposite ends of the performance and quality spectrum.
Entry level to high end is quite a difference.
