Yes, it's built like a kick (with wood hoops and claws) due to the fact 20" metal hoops and standard 20" heads are impossible to find. It can double as a kick.
Because of it's size, I am using ps/3 on top and bottom to help focus the boom a bit. I want a bit more definition than just a gong drum.
