6x6 and "floor tom of doom"

I have completed assembly of my 6x6 rack tom, and it's in use. Another very quick delivery! My 20"x 18" deep "floor tom of doom*" shells arrived. The 3rd coat of tung oil is drying right now. It also arrived really quickly, despite the holidays. These two drums will finish my kit. I'll post pics when the lugs arrive! I am tempted to spend extra time sanding, and applying a dark walnut gloss (like Gretsch) but I remind myself how nice a natural finish looks. *Back in the 70's, a 20" floor tom was available from a number of companies. IIRC, Gene krupa used one.
