i have been thinking about getting internal mics on my drum kit. i have talked to a few sound techs at different shows i have played and they say that smetimed it sounds good and sometimes it sounds bad. i was wondering if anyone was fmailiar with internal mics and how i should set it up. i was wanting to use a sure beta 52 for the kick, and sm57 for the toms, if anyone can recomend better mid-priced mics, let me know. also, does the type of heads make a difference(two ply or one)? i would greatly appreciate any info, if there was anything else i didn't ask that i need to know about please let me know.
