Opening for the Doobie Brothers in '81, I had this old frankenstein of a kit, at least 5 types of drums. My bass had a rail consolette and snapped off in the middle of the set. with a little luck and some xtra sticks and duct tape, the show went on. We actually sounded OK. But, to this day my fellow band mates still chuckle about that one! Boy, was I happy when they came out with racks, I tell you! Keep the faith drum brothers, and remember, not everybody's drummers, but, we can't all be perfect! Gino.
