Don't do it! You'll be sorry! My first drum set I built was like that, cuz back in the 80s everybody was into power size toms so I did it too. The sound was dead, shorter toms give you more tone, and better stick rebound! Not only that, unless your kinda tall, they have to be raised up high if you rack mount them on a bass drum so the rims don't dig into the bass drum! Sorry didn't mean to bust your bubble, but manufactures, and artists went back to standard size toms for a reason.
