Posted by Leo The guy that always stands out in my mind as the single most greatest drummer dude... Is Bill Bruford. His work with King Crimson always blows me away. Sure, all those other guys rock my socks off, but Bruford does stuff that always leaves you scratchin' your head. And he's so melodic about it. And when he wants to, he can dig in there and rock the livin' $@#! out of them. And one of these days, I'm going to build a linear kit and get a remote hat. Not because I'm some Bruford geek or something, it just looks really comfortable.
