Yeah, more Old places to detect sounds about right. Certainly the way I would go if you can find it... Those guys usually know a 'lot' of other guys too.
Also, 10% - 15% of the value of the found item(s) isn't out of the ordinary since that's usually what an insurance company will pay for retrieving 'lost items'.
The other way to do it is with a 'flat fee' of $100.00 bucks and you give them 3 - 5 hours of your time (depending on your expenses, etc..)
