Thanks Joeman. I've learned long ago not to argue from a point of ignorance. However, will post my experiences when the modified unit is up and running. In over 30 years of detecting, I have never felt need of a pinpointer. We older folk like getting our fingers dirty (and oftimes cut)whilst searching the invisibles. Then again, I remember a couple of root hits was never able to find, when a pinpointer would have provided confirmtion. Why is it those are the ones you most remember?
