New detector in edmonton- area ideas?/old maps?

hey there, im new to metal detecting, set out with an old radioshack md and found a silver chain and a handful of coins in about 20 mins. got the bug and just ordered a euroace from garret. any ideas/areas/maps of edmonton i can find? just looking for ideas and areas and to say hello!
