Since December of 2009 I've sold most of the jewelry my female relatives and in-laws didn't get, most of the common silver coins and the Civil War relics I found. I sold the Civil War relics to a local guy and the gold and silver jewelry and silver coins to Midwest Refineries. I wasn't going to sell it, but my wife and youngest daughter decided it wasn't doing anyone any good locked in a file cabinet. Over 20 years of gold and silver jewelry finds, the Civil War relics and the common silver coins brought a fair sized chunk of money that's drawing interest the jewelry, coins and relics wouldn't be drawing sitting in the file cabinet, so I guess my wife and daughter were right.
