Hi, I'm looking at going into metal detecting but I'm a bit concern as it looks like you rely on hearing. I have a severe hearing loss. I rely on hearing aids to hear. Although I can hear on the phone with an amplified phone. Am I going to be able to use a metal detector? Which one should I be looking at? I'm presently looking at a Garrett Gtax 550, Garrett ace 250, and a Viper Trident. I like the idea of being able to go into water. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
