I am looking to detect in the Edmonton area, and the city out skirts. Possible take a day trip out to the old gold mine areas up north, or head out east to look for meteorites at the buzzard-coulie site.
Overall, I would be just going out and getting some freash air, and looking for anything that goes "beep". If all goes according to plan, maybe a couple times a week after work, and the odd weekend trip out of the city to where ever my truck takes me.
Price is a concern, but not a deciding factor.....just want to get one that will perform in all conditions, and wont skip over any possible targets in the mixed soil conditions we have here in Alberta.
Any thoughts??
