I have been putting off buying a metal detector for a couple years now, usually due to a unforeseen bill or expense that pops up related to being a parent.
Recently received my tax refund, and the wife has given me the green light to finally go ahead and get one! 
The only dilema I have is what to get!? Up here in Edmonton there is not much of a selection. Do I buy local and expect the after urchase service...or buy on line and look for the best package deal?
I was for the longest time leaning towards a Whites Spectra V3i, then I saw the newest a Garret AT-Pro. I need some input from those of you out there with more knowledge on this subject.
Please help point me in the right direction....
Thankfully....seriously confused!
